Football, baseball, and basketball facilities were already in place when a new track, softball field, soccer field, and tennis courts were added. In the spring of 1994, the facility was named The George A. Volkert Athletic Complex. A new gymnasium floor was installed, and a pilot program in computer technology was begun in concert with IBM, bringing state-of-the-art technology to the campus.
