John L. Ambrose, Jr. joined the FRA Board of Directors in 1981, and served as Chairman of the Board from 1982 until 1984. Four of his children attended FRA, two served on the Alumni Board, and one son is now a Trustee. Mr. Ambrose’s grandchildren now attend.
The Ambrose Printing Company generously donates printing to FRA each year because Mr. Ambrose believed so strongly in the FRA mission. Mr. Ambrose contributed time, money and loyalty … more than anything, he contributed of himself. Franklin Road Academy has dedicated The Ambrose Art Gallery in his honor.
