The competitive nature of the Panthers can be found in the FRA Volleyball program. The Panther varsity team competes in the TSSAA Division II (Financial aid division) Class A. Middle School competes in the HVAC and has been a contender for the championship consistantly during the 2000's. The program supports Middle School A and B sides while the Upper Schools plays a JV and Varsity schedule.
Varsity practice begins in the summer with the Panthers either going to or hosting a volleyball camp. Official practice begins in late July. Middle School practice starts the week school begins in August.
