• Thursday, May 10th: 3-5/5:30 in South Campus Gym

• Learn material to be performed on the 20th
• Stunting- you will be allowed time to show your skills in different groups  

• Friday, May 11th: 3-5/5:30 in High School Gym

• Perform learned material (mini routine, cheer) for judges
• 2012 FRA Football Cheerleading Squad will be announced 

• Tryout:

In groups of 2 or 3 you will spirit into the HS gym along with throwing tumbling (standing backhandspring or anything of higher difficulty, but nothing below that level). You will then stand in your designated spots and perform the mini routine (6-8 8 counts) and cheer with jump. Then, spirit out of gym. 

• You will have to be ready at 3:00 on both days, the latest we will begin is 3:10.
• Uniform for Thursday: practice gear- tank (no writing) or tee (no writing) and shorts, cheer shoes, ponytail.
• Uniform for Friday: navy blue cheer shorts or navy blue skirt with no pleats and white tank (no writing), blue/white/or silver bow- optional, cheer shoes, ponytail. 

Parents/guardians are not allowed in the tryout vicinity on Thursday and Friday in order to eliminate any disturbances.

• All Student-Athletes for 2012-13 School Year must have certified physical on or after April 15th, to be in accordance to TSSAA rules and regulations.

• FRA Athletics would like to thank Results Physiotherapy for their sponsorship of our 2011 FRA Sports Camp program along with their continued support of our players, parents, and coaches as our sports medicine provider!

As of Monday, January 4, 2010, Results Physiotherapy and Franklin Orthopaedics will serve as the Sports Medicine provider and team physicians, respectively, for Franklin Road Academy. Both were unanimous selections from our athletic selection committee led by Director of Athletics, Kurt Page.  Coach Page was accompanied in this process from FRA head varsity coaches and staff members from both boys and girls teams on FRA campus.  

Dr. Jeff W.  Cook, MD and Dr. W. Gregory Cook, MD will be our team physicians from Franklin Orthopaedics. 

Results Physiotherapy will be FRA’s Sports Medicine provider.  Caleb Hanby, of Results, will be our Athletic Trainer, providing care of our student-athletes. 

Clinical operations for our FRA community will be based in their Green Hills clinic, located at the Hill Center on Hillsboro Road, adjacent and above Whole Foods market. The outdoor parking garage allows easy parking and access directly to their premises. This location is less than 10 minutes from FRA and will assist with the convenience necessary for complete treatment and event coverage. Alternative convenient locations include Brentwood Clinic on the corner of Old Hickory Blvd and Granny White, and the Cool Springs Clinic on Mallory Lane.
