When You Move to Your Second Tablet PC

Your Tablet PC is scheduled to last three years. For most students, this means getting a new Tablet PC when entering the 7th grade, and again when entering the 10th grade. Here’s what you need to know when you move to that second Tablet PC:

  • You should copy your documents from your old Tablet PC to your new one. The easiest way to do this is to use your SimpleTech drive. Plug it into your old computer and copy your My Documents folder to your SimpleTech drive. Then unplug your SimpleTech drive from your old computer and plug it into your new computer. Open the copy of the My Documents folder from the SimpleTech drive into your new My Documents folder.
  • You’re old computer is part of the FRA computer network and will need to be removed from it. Before you do that, you will need to create a new, local login account for yourself and copy your old user profile to the new account.
  • You will need to remove the FRA antivirus and antispyware programs from your computer. To remove Norman AntiSpyware, you will need:
